Tae Kwon-Do was first introduced into the United Kingdom during 1967.
Due to differences in political views arising out of Korea a few different groups came into existence.
In the United Kingdom a few associations became more interested in political views and financial gains than teaching.
Thus ATA came into existence in 2010, the aim of this association is to teach for the Value of martial arts and to abide by the tenets just as a student should.
ATA is not interested in the politics of government, instructors or associations.
Our reward is the contribution as an instructor and association attributing to the improvement of the students we teach.
All instructors within our association will be focused on the student and expanding through the practice of quality teachings.
